I was surprised to notice various articles in the newspapers where the NAB chief stressed the need for junior officials, police force etc to learn Pakistan law. A full day session to teach high government officials, ministers, state ministers, advisors and the like what corruption and good governance is all about. That day such officials could have actually attended to some official work worth millions. Practically, most of the faces shown on TV are known for their fair dealings already.

One would like to ask the NAB chief why he is protecting many connected people about whom he has proven cases pending, especially examples where financial damage has taken place against the national exchequer.

The NAB chief should probably do justice in his one-year service extension and ensure his name in history for being bold and honest.

Knowing the ifs and buts, I and others can say that life is short and we have to think of the Day of Judgement too. As they say, it is never too late.
